Showin’ Off On Saturday
I saw this post on Sarcastic Mom, and I couldn’t resist doing it. The theme is from Hawtolucion.
The goal is to take a picture of yourself in the outfit that makes you feel the best about yourself.
Just a little word of warning: I can never choose which shoes I’m going to wear,
, so my shoes do not match
First, what I’m wearing for today:

White boatneck with basic jeans

Basic but give me no butt (not that I have much of one anyway)

I told you I can’t choose shoes. Do I want pink or purple?
Now, for feel-good outfits. Outfit #1 is my “summer” outfit, and outfit #2 is my “winter” outfit
OUTFIT #1:

It’s a nice top my mom got me at Debz. I’m forced to wear a bra with it, so I was so excited when I found a pink one that matches it pretty well, and can be converted to strapless

See, not much of a booty, but Josh thinks it’s the perfect “handful”.

Choice of shoe is where we’re going. If I’m going to be doing a lot of walking, I go with the rhinestones. If not, I go with the slinkies
OUTFIT #2:

A gorgeous and warm cowl-neck sweater I got at Walmart. I needed a top for Thanksgiving, and this has seriously become my “keep warm” sweater for everything.

Same pants as before, but see, nice booty when I want it,

Shoes depend on if I’m going for a more casual or more dressy look. I wish I had a pair of brown shoes in black, though. I think they’d look better in black.

Oh Sarah! Wonderful! You look great
Dawn » Thanks. I’m usually hating on my body, but these pictures, and theme, helped me realize, more and more, that it’s just in my head.
I like your choices. I’d love to look like that!
Dragonstar » Thanks. I wish I could take credit for it, but I attribute it to my genetics. Whether I eat a ton or I don’t eat at all, I pretty much stay the same size. Makes shopping a PITA because I’m “average” size, courtesy of baby hips,
, and all the clothes in my size are usually picked over. Well, pants at least,
. Tops are usually pretty easy to find
Looking good summer or winter. I totally get the no booty thing. My sister used to make fun of me that I was the only girl she ever saw who had stretch pants (it’s a 60’s thing) that bagged in the butt.
LMAO @ the no matching shoes hehe I wouldn’t have thought of doing such a thing… but then again, I don’t have enough nice quality shoes to pick from LOL
Totally looking hot in the summer and winter outfits… But, seriously, you’d look hot in anything… butt or not butt. LOL
I like both outfits. Looks like you really like pink, but it’s a good colour on you.
Eve » *giggles* I’ve always had no booty, unless I’m pregnant. I want my preggo-booty back, without having another child, ;)
Tans » I’ve got a slight obsession with shoes, and Josh doesn’t mind indulging it, since I usually find my shoes on sale or cheap (the boots I was wearing, I got for $15,
, the sandals I got for less than $10 each … tennis shoes were less than $20 each)
, but thank you
I honestly don’t look hot in anything. Definitely not anything,
Jenty » I’m a girly-girl when it comes to clothes, but honestly, pale pink works for me, be it winter and my golden-girl tan is gone, or during the height of summer, and I’m starting to become a little brown,
.
I saw this at Sarcastic mom too and was too lazy to have the fun you did! I love the choice between pink or purple…classic mom decision! I found you through 365…
HRH » I can never find anything not pink or purple, when it comes to tennis shoes, that fit me the right way. At least not in my price range,
. I’ve found tons of Adidas, Nike, Reebok, etc, but they all want more than $40 for them o.O Not paying that much for a pair of shoes, unless they leave flowers or something in their wake,
.
