Seriously, WTF?

Someone is trying to say that Josh was at fault with the accident (someone online). o.O WTF? He crossed the center lane, yes, but damn, the bitch SLAMMED into him and sent him into a spin that crossed the center and into the left lane, narrowly missing the wall. Plus, the fact that, um, she was driving on a SUSPENDED LICENSE. The only reason the blue car hit Josh was because he had to go around Bitch, and then saw Josh, and slid into him (there’s barely any paint on the truck from the guy, and considering it was a slide, the guy was already going pretty damn slow in the first place, based on said damage to door.

Seriously, how is it his fault. The officer even said that the lines were “non-functional” meaning they couldn’t be seen. There was NO ONE in the left lane, whatsoever, so she could have switched to the left lane without a problem. But damn it, the accident wouldn’t have happened, period, if she hadn’t been on the damn road.

Plus, with the center lane thing? I’m not even sure that’s true. Josh hugs the shoulder, and it’s gotten even worse since he started working at the post office, courtesy of driving the LLV’s and the vans. He hugs that shoulder with a death grip. If he skid out of control, I seriously doubt he crossed the line so much that she had to slam her breaks (or “tap” them as she claimed). What was the point of turning the wheel TOWARDS him.

And the idiot suggesting that Josh should have gone towards the ditch? That “ditch” is a 2-3 foot DROP. He could have been killed, PLUS, the fact that the skid took him towards the center lane. Um, you turn INTO a skid, not away, or you go into a spin, and really lose control.

For now, we’re waiting to hear from American Family. Josh called, and left a message. I can’t wait to hear how they react once they finally talk to him, or if they’re going to attempt to give him the run-around.

*hugz* insurance companies suck. idiots with licenses suck. a girl sued my mom for damages because she lost the job she loved due to back and neck injuries. The jury said she wasn’t injured. And they still awarded her close to 50,000. And the job she loved? Cleaning the bathrooms at Houlihan’s. Mom was just glad that it was below the 50,000 limit on her insurance so the insurance would have to cover it all. But the insurance appealed, I’m sure. Luckily, Mom has a good insurance company and they were there every step of the way. Hopefully, you’re insurance co will be just as good. )

Gah, and we can’t even take the bitch to court because Josh wasn’t injured. *grumble*

No matter what, it’s now out of our hands, and State Farm has pretty much said it’ll work out two ways: they’ll say “weather conditions” and won’t cover anything on her, or they’ll say that she was more than 50% at fault, and go after her insurance company.
