One Thing After Another
Cities here in Kansas are slowly, finally, starting to get power back after the ice storm, and *boom* guess what’s starting again? Not ice this time, but snow. Snow + existing ice = idiots who don’t know what the fuck to do. Great, just great. I hate Kansas at points like this.
In other news, we’ve got a visitor who might be staying longer than planned. Mark got the generator yesterday, but it’s gas powered, so it can’t run constantly. We’re working on ways to convince Jamie to just stay here and crash for as long as necessary. Even if we lost power, we’ll stay warmer than the house because it’s smaller. Plus, we’re second floor. Heat rises. We’ll see, though. If power isn’t restored to the house (hell, even landlines are dead), she’ll most likely be staying.
I feel like I’ve been bothersome in some ways though. Yesterday I had the biggest headache. I was just exhausted, physically (been getting up with Josh), and it caught up with me. Plus, weather temps going all crazy, and heater on, caused my sinuses to just go nuts. It wasn’t really a stress headache, but definitely a sinus (front, from temple to temple). It farking SUCKED so I went to bed EARLY. I slept pretty good, too.
