Not the news I needed

Truck is fucked.

We got snow today. Josh took the interstate to get to work. He got slammed from behind.
Good news: he’s okay, and Jesse is there with him right now.

Me? I’m freaking the fuck out, and crying. This is what I’ve been so scared of happening to him. With no truck, we get just the right amount of snow or ice, and Josh won’t be able to get to work.

8:14 am update:
He’s called a couple times since. He’s okay, and the other person is okay (he smacked the back of his head, she smacked the front of hers). Truck frame looks okay (he’s going to try and drive it … he’s still out there). Already excused for being late, both him and Jesse. Mark called me to reassure me that everything was going to be okay. His call got me bawling after I hung up. Now I’m going to be scared shitless every single day until Spring re-arrives again.

Thanks. We’re hoping that they don’t total out the truck. We want time to say good-bye to it. It holds a lot of memories for us.
