As most readers might know, I’ve got an 18-year-old sister, so for her, buying something cute and fun would always fit her. She, like most females her age, has a slight obsession with shoes and clothes, so a whole outfit would be a perfect idea. Finding a good deal with 20% off the whole order just makes the deal even sweeter

Some cute jeans (we mid-Westerners can’t have enough jeans – I’ve got 7 pairs, XD), and 2 different tops. Cute, cute, CUTE!!

Ever have one of those days where you just feel overly emotional? I had one a few days back (Friday, actually), and I wrote it down, XD. So totally emo it’s not even funny, *snort*

I turned off the ability to comment, because I just wanted to put it out there. I’m not looking for sympathy, support, or anything like that. It’s more of a record for me, and maybe someone’ll read it, identify with it, and realize they’re not alone.

I’m such a girl, but hey, these are great ideas for the female in your life. Who doesn’t need, nor want rings? Sure, some might spend some time in the jewelry boxes, but hey, they’re there, and they’re pretty. Or at least, that’s how I look at it, .

While I think it’s totally and completely cheesy, but I’d love it if we could afford for me to find an official engagement ring under the tree, XD. So not going to happen, but it’s one of those things I dream of. It’s so sweet and romantic, and yeah, cheesy, but cheesy fits my guy, so how can I complain about that? He’s such a romantic fool that I can’t help it

Speaking of engagements, which leads to weddings, and wedding bands. I’ve already got a basic idea of what I want. I hate plain bands. Plain bands look like shite on my hands, so I want something non-plain. I don’t care what causes it to be non-plain, but that’s just how it is. Good news? Josh wants the plain band for himself, so he doesn’t care if I go for non-plain. In fact, he likes the idea. We want everything about the wedding, the jewels, everything, to suit who we are as individuals, and how we are as a couple, and family. That’s the way it’s supposed to be, right?

My Wish-List

1. A Faster PC: Our computer is 4 years old. We’ve upgraded it as much as possible, but now, our C-drive, or our processor is starting to die. That’s causing problems with our graphics card, and just makes me frown.
2. People to join my site: Since I know I’m not going to be getting a new PC anytime soon (house and car come first ), I’m trying to make some money so that we can start putting away for it.
3. A Silky Terrier: It’s my dream to have one of these absolutely adorable little dogs. Hubs has already agreed to it, though he’s trying to figure out a way to keep it from being eaten by his future dog (he’s getting a wolf-malamute mix), LOL
4. A Microsoft Zune: Because the PC sucks, it’s hard to listen to the music I want to, and I like listening to music. CD players are nice, even when they do MP3 data disks (holds bout 100-200 songs), but it’s not like an MP3 player The Zune fits what I want to be able to do, and all that good stuff
5. Boxes for shipping presents: this is a weird request, but my parents live 8 hours away, and our gifts to them are fluffy blankets that match their decor and personalities, and we’re having problems finding boxes that won’t cost us an arm-and-a-leg to ship. Hubs doesn’t get discounts at the post office, even if he does work for them, LOL
6. Icons that suit me: I get so bored, so fast, with my icons, and I’m a permanent user, yet I never reach anywhere close to my max. I’ve only gotten to half, and then I’m deleting half.
7. More friends for LJ: I love reading and commenting, and getting input myself. I’m friends-only because there’s an asshole who likes to try and make my life a living hell, but I don’t mind new readers . I also have a post for Christmas cards, so if you want one, I can send one I love sending and receiving Christmas cards.
8. A GPS Unit: My husband is a postal carrier, who might be getting tossed on different routes again (*grumble*), and since we don’t live in the area he works in, it’s easy for him to get lost at times. Instead of him having to wait for our PC to respond (he calls me for directions, LOL), he can just input it into the GPS and be on his way. It’ll also come in handy in May when we all (his family and us) go to Virginia/Carolina for the spreading of his mom’s ashes.
9. Clothes for my daughter: She’s a size 4 (SLIM), and it’s so hard finding clothes that fit her right. The slims fit her perfectly in the waist, but are a little long. 4T’s fit her in thewaist, but are too short. Shirts are more 4T, but we want stuff to last a little longer.
10. Clothes for my son: He’s a 2T to 3T. Heck, even some 18 months pants fit him. The kid has no idea what size he is, LOL. We’re looking at 3T’s for him, so that he’s not out-growing them as soon as he hits a growth spurt

Since I missed one day, I’m going to go ahead and make it up, since I’m feeling semi-good today.

Biggest thing and best thing you can get any member of the family is a gift card, be it to their favorite store, or now, the new Visa and Mastercard pre-paid cards, so they can use it where ever they want.

This year, if we can’t think of anything for Jesse and Jamie, we’ll most likely hit them up with gift cards from iTunes. Both Jesse and Jamie like to download music, and maybe they’d have a better shot of finding the ones they want.

Jess could also use his to get a few of the shows I know he’s obsessed with:

There are so many different people that today’s gift would be perfect for. Today’s gift idea is a digital camera.

I absolutely adore my camera. I just wish that I had one that was indestructible, LOL, considering I’ll be going on my third, if we can ever get another. A digital picture frame is also a good idea. I think something like that would be a good idea for Mark. Then he could have scrolling pictures of the family, show them off, without having to turn on his computer. Considering it’s a dinosaur, that would be for the best, LOL.

I found one that would be really good for my parents, too: Digital Spectrum Solutions 5.6in Photo/MP3/Video Picture Frame. The frame is awesome. We could customize it with a bunch of pictures of the kids, and then add an MP3 of them singing or something (they love to sing). Awesome gift for grandparents, I would think.

And, wow, totally went off the topic of digital cameras, didn’t I?

Okay, my dream camera would be Canon PowerShot A570IS 7.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. Josh and I have done our research, and we think that would give us the biggest bang for our buck. We don’t want something super little, nor something really confusing. If we want that, we can just use his digital camcorder, and we’ll be okay. We need something that’s good for taking basic shots of the kids, but also ones for when we go on vacations and get a chance to get some really good shots.

Remember, also, when you’re looking for a new digital camera, take into account accessories you already have for your old one. If you can find one that utilizes the most of those current accessories, you’ll save yourself a lot of money in the long run. It’s the best of both worlds with that.
