We just got a notice saying that we’ve got too much in savings. WTF?

The last time I talked to her, I explained that we were half the amount that we were before. Yes, we were sitting at over $4K total in savings and checking when we re-applied, but that sure as hell doesn’t stay around. Two months of $80 gas bills, plus one of $100, not including regular gas for both vehicles, maintenance for both vehicles, clothes for 2 kids, not including Josh’s clothes that he’s gotta have for June. How the fuck do they expect people to get off of assistance if they can’t begin to save to actually, you know, AFFORD to do so?
