A Few Things
Josh and I have thoroughly discussed the assistant manager position, and have come to an agreement that department management, at this point in time, is the best situation for him. It’s guaranteed set hours, and at least a 40-cent pay raise. He’s not going to take just any that are available, just ones that have legitimate coverage (like no HBA and the like). That’s where the 40-cent raise comes into effect. The decent areas for department management are 2 pay classes above the one he’s at now (he’s a 5, highest is a 7, before it becomes salaried management). Usually the ones that handle money (electronics, wireless, photo lab, garden center, and sporting goods) are the Class 7 pay classes (for department management), at least as far as I understand. Julie’ll most likely correct me if I’m wrong,

I also got Celebration Stuff! I love the objects, at least most of them. I like the idea of different colored cakes for birthdays and weddings. Makes things more unique. I’m playing with it right now (came in handy when cable went *pplltt* earlier).
We also went to Josh’s dad’s today. Kiddos had a mini Easter egg hunt, and it was so cute seeing them trying to find the eggs. Ethan had to be guided to them. He just wanted to play, but it was freaking FREEZING. It wasn’t as gold as it got in February, but shit! We got used to those nice lovely warm temperatures for awhile there. We’re not expected to get them back until NEXT Saturday
