I couldn’t stand the old look. It just so didn’t suit me. This one, though, I absolutely adore. Completely and overly PINK!! Those who don’t like pink, please pucker up and just kiss me pale white ass, ‘k, because I could care less what you feel. And if you’re using anything smaller than 1024 resolution-wise, then you won’t see the theme too well, but most sites now are designed for that and higher, so deal. My blog, my site, MY choice. And, yes, I did just recolor a few of the graphics (2) that came with the template, but that’s because I actually like the idea of the plaid for the design. Works amazing with it, IMO. Only bad thing is the garish yellow smilies. I don’t want to go back to the bears, so I’ll deal until I get off my duff an recolor the basic ones.

Concerning New Years: If I’m up, I’ll try and make a “Happy New Years” post, but like I said, if I’m up, . Tomorrow, though, I’m looking forward, actually, to seeing K-Fed get his ass womped by Ceena *drool*. Josh works 9-6 tomorrow, so should be able to watch it.

Speaking of Josh’s hours, week 51 (2 weeks from now), Josh is scheduled, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10-7. Both he and Jeremy (newish transfer, with a little boy Madi’s age and a little girl no older than 6 months) are scheduled at that time. Francis comes in at 7, and gets NO HELP until 10, when both guys are scheduled to come in. Do we need more proof that Steve’s a fucking moron? Come February, Home Office starts doing the schedules. There’s rumors that hours are going to be drastically cut. If so, there will be hell to pay, literally.

Speaking of pay, though, Jamie told me that the hospital she’s at is hiring (cafeteria), and that child care services are provided for free. She’s going to be emailing me information on. If it sounds good, I’ll be applying (I’ve got a nice in with Jamie, I would hope, ). Who knows, though. I guess we’ll have to see on that. More info will be provided as it arrives.

There’s snow on the ground!! There’s snow on the ground. They’re calling for 1 to 3 inches by tonight. I’m so happy. The last snow of the year. It’ll be gone by the middle of tomorrow, but that’s okay. There’s SNOW!!!

Hee hee, car’s being “buried”, . Good news, though, is that the ground’s too warm for it to actually freeze (meaning the roads), so it’s actually pretty safe for driving. It’s just a little froggy * * and the snow’s blowing a bit.

Ethan’s got his tv up now. He wanted his Lightening McQueen light put up. Since, to do that, we’d have to switch the surge protectors (we got the child safety ones for their TV’s), it was just easier to do up his TV, too. He’s not hooked to cable yet, but that’s because the splitters tend to mess up, and we’re not risking the internet connection (though if anything happens, we don’t have to pay for Cox to come out, due to the fact that we pay “insurance” on that ). But at least he can watch movies and the like on it ;)

I’m most likely going to be changing my theme again soon. I don’t really like the design. I have to do a little too much CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) editting to make it suit me. It’s a gorgeous template, just not something I like. Plus, Valentine’s Day is the next major holiday (not even worrying about New Years), and I love that holiday. We’ll see how well that goes. Right now, though, I’m trying to decide if I want to offer this theme up for sale. I’ve got all the PSP files saved, so I could easily make it so that someone could have any hair color for either doll, and all that good stuff, but that would be a hell of a lot of work. I doubt I will.

We lost a lot of pictures because Josh had to use the dvc for them, and they came out looking like a cellphone took them *shakes head* They looked pretty nice on the camera playback (the actual digital camera), but kinda crappy on the dvc, so we shoulda known something was up Anyways, on to the pics (and they’re in no particular order)

Yesterday was a good day. Started out kind of rocky, but that’s because both Josh and I were exhausted. The kids made out like bandits, and I mean that literally. They got so much STUFF. One present was left at Josh’s dad’s, so that they have something to do there. Pictures will come later. Josh got a JVC digital video camera, , so some of the pictures are a little blurry, and I gotta figure out how to fix that Josh’s dad got me a Kenmore slow cooker. I can’t wait to play with it

First off, my goal for the new year (by the 1st, I mean) is to have a new WP theme available.

This is the template that I’ll be using for it I’m having a major problem, though: I can’t think of a darn thing to use for it I’ve got all my memberships, plenty of stuff to use, and NADA is coming me HELP!!

Okay, maybe not, but I got your attention. Christmas shopping is now officially over. We’ve now spent a good chunk of change on Mark and Julie. But this time, they’re getting gifts from the kiddos, too. And we found a bag big enough for their big present. *dances* $3 for it, , which is extremely cheap, IMO.

Right now, I’m trying to come up with ideas for a theme for my Legacy Challenge journal, and I can’t think of a damn thing. How flipping sad is that. I don’t really want it to be covered in Sims stuff, because I’m not sure if I’ll be doing all one legacy or what. If you’ve got ideas for the theme, throw ‘em at me, because I’m plumb out of them (or if you know of a downloadable one, not pay, because I pay enough for them ;)).

Josh has a cd for me hidden somewhere in our room, and my mind keeps trying to figure out what he got me, . He said it was something I wanted, , but that could be anything from Evanecense to Hannah Montana (hee hee) to Christmas music. So not a helpful hint. I’m being good though, and not trying to look for it. It’s hard resisting the urge though. I think I’m doing okay with it, , but not as good as I should

Speaking of gifts, my mammaw sent us a package through the USPS. I expected it yesterday, so I listened for the door (wasn’t sure if it was USPS or UPS), and heard nothing. I go to check the mail, and guess what’s waiting in the mailbox? A “sorry we missed you” notice from the fucking USPS. The lazy SOB never once knocked on the door. They did the same thing with Josh’s package that I ordered. This package, though, we have to pick up at the post office because it’s insured. I tried to have Josh call his dad and see if he could pick it up for us, but nope, he refused to call O.o WTF? Mark would have no problem saving us a trip. All we would have had to do was give him the code, and he could have gotten it pretty easily. Men suck.

I’m shaky right now. Anemia is so not fun. I get to deal with it for 3 days at least, because I’m HEAVY! The cramps are KILLING me right now and I can’t find my Midol (nothing else works ).
