I’m completely and totally obsessed with all things winter and Christmas-related. I mean I’ve always known it, but I never really realized how much, until I got, well, Josh got, the Sims 2 Holiday Pack I’m loving it. I’m going to be playing later today, 
, and I can’t wait. I just love the holidays so much. What’s your favorite thing about the holidays?
Josh is picking up “Robin Hood” today. The Disney re-release. I absolutely adore that movie. Makes me happy when I see it. But it also makes me wish we had “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” though 
I love Costner in that movie. Then again, there are quite a few movies that I want. *snaps fingers* Holy crap! Just thought of a perfect gift for Josh: DANCES WITH WOLVES! I know he loves that movie, and we don’t have it, so *dances* another perfect gift, and one I can totally surprise him with. XD
Ethan’s been worrying Josh lately. Little Man likes to play with dolls, . He actually plays with Madi’s more than she does. Then again, she plays with Ethan’s cars more than he does, so maybe they just like playing with others things (and no dirty minds!). I keep trying to tell him that it doesn’t mean anything. I mean my dad played with barbies growing up (3 sisters … 2 older, 1 younger), and he’s one of the most manly men I’ve ever met.
I showed Josh the ring that I picked out for him, and he loved it. He said it would be perfect. I’m so happy. I’ve got a feeling I’ll be getting a solitaire for our engagement though. He really wants to do a solitaire, despite the fact that I don’t want it. Since I’m the one choosing my wedding ring, I guess I’ll let him make that decision Ha ha, considering I’ll be making most of the other decisions (he gets to choose the tux style and vest style, but I choose colors, ;), stuff like that), so I guess I’ll be teh good girlfriend/fiancee and let him have the choice of engagement rings.
I got one new tag done yesterday, and I gotta say I’m actually happy with how it turned out. I tried to do an animated one, but it didn’t work out right The envelope going into the box just didn’t work out the way I’d envisioned. Oh well, the replacement turned out really good.

giddyLately, I’ve been checking out rings for Josh. Wedding bands. Josh, if you mention him wearing a ring, shudders, so he’s gonna be cheap to buy for, . I’ve got a few ideas of what I want to get him. He wants something plain, and I can totally live with that.
I’m thinking of something like this, with ILYWAMHSMAB engraved on the inside. It stands for “I love you with all my heart, soul, mind, and body”. He’s definitely the love of my life. And hell, for $22, you can’t beat that price, . Another one I’m thinking of is something like this, without the diamonds. Josh so wouldn’t like diamonds, . I think, though, that this ring will be absolutely perfect for him.
Me, I’m actually looking at pretty plain designs as well. Amazing, huh? I would love this ring, complete with diamonds. It’s small, white gold, and feminine without being over-the-top. Okay, and this beauty is exactly what I want. I already told Josh that I’d rather not have a “bridal set” for the ring, because I want something that’ll stack well with the promise ring I already have (when we get married, they both will be moved to my right hand, and when I get the engagement ring, it’ll go on the left, along with the promise already there.

When we get Madi’s DVD player and TV off of layaway, we’re actually going to open the DVD player and put it in our room, until about the 23rd or so. The reason: the DVD player in the bedroom isn’t working more than it is working. Josh and I don’t really watch movies in our room, so it’s not like it’s for us. The kids are the ones who wore out the player anyway. We’re going to wrap it up for her, though, to open on Christmas. We’re hoping, since she’s three, she’ll just know she’s opening a present, and not realize she got gyped a bit, . I guess we’ll see, won’t we.

I about passed out this morning. Why? A very good reason: Josh’s paycheck. He’s getting $718 this paycheck o.O Pay raise from 8.80 to 9.40, 1.36 hours over-time, and Thanksgiving holiday pay First check of January’s gonna be pretty damn sweet too: 2 days of Holiday pay, plus guaranteed overtime from Christmas Eve, and the days following up to it. *dances* We’re gonna be sitting okay, and that makes me very happy!! I just sent off my two checks from survey fillage ($21), with two more on the way ($38).
The kids are actually playing well together right now. They’re rotating between giggling and Ethan whining, but the giggling is lasting longer, by far, so that makes me happy. The painting, though, that was supposed to happen didn’t. As soon as the office got everyone’s cars moved, *BOOM* comes the rain, , so the pavement is trying. Good news is that I can see the car from the living room window.
merryOkay, never mind on that. I was gonna try and have it set up so that SMF automatically comes here, but I think I broke it, so never mind on that, . I was in full-blown panic mode. Not fun, very scary. Kids, though, seemed to find it funny, and did everything they could to make it worse. O.o Well, at least they weren’t scared. But damn, no wonder Madi curses already O.o HELP!
And now some normal bitching: MARK! Gah!! This is just wrong. He told Josh he had somewhere to be tonight O.o He got off an hour ago, because Josh switched with him. Josh gave up 2 hours with the kiddos (though he got a bit of time this morning), and Mark didn’t even end up going *grumble*

The “purple” building is our building. The “blue” building is Mark and Julie’s building. The opposite side? That’s where, and half the complex, have to park Monday O.o so they can “paint” the parking lot. Please, someone explain to me how that’s possible? When almost ALL of the apartments have at least 2 cars PER apartment?

Santa, this year I want a nice cohesive community. No back-stabbing, no stealing, and last but not least, no “selling of domains” just to open another one O.o WTF is the point anyway? And, then others to publicly smear this person. Yeah, she did an EXTREMELY stupid thing, but hey, most of the community saw it anyway. Hell, I’m going WTH, but for god’s sakes, keep it PRIVATE! No one deserves the shit you’re slinging. Grow the fuck up or get the hell out. This is just getting ridiculous. Oh, and if you don’t know, please don’t ask. It’s none of my business, I just had to get that off of my chest.
In other news, Josh has PMS. I swear to freaking god he does. He’s bitchy, is tired, and gah, just driving me insane. No, it’s not just me. Then again, the kids are being super clingy lately. Driving both of us insane with it too. Nice thing though is that his book comes sometime between Monday and Wednesday, which means he won’t be home when it comes
Me? I feel like I’m dying a slow and painful death, it seems at times. I was all excited about the “wintry mix” come Wednesday, that I neglected to notice something very important: 70’s on Tuesday, 30’s on Wednesday. Hello, chest infection. Nice to see you again. Body’s already prepping. Migraine for the past two days, with random numbness in places and blurry vision, so it’s gonna be a doozy once it really kicks in.
Doesn’t help that Six decided to spend FOUR hours putting up Christmas lights and garland. Now that’s not the bad part. The bad part is the fact that it took FOUR hours to do a 3 x 3 area O.o How the heck does it take that long? Josh did ours, which is about 4 x 5 in less than 2, and it looked a lot better too (and he did so while refraining from singing Christmas carols badly). Mark and Julie’s Two though looks really good. They did their main window and their column. The column looks like a candy cane (complete with white and red rope lights), and multi-colored twinklers in the window. I love that Nice pretty picture when you look out the window.
