Damn it!

I totally forgot to post,. I’m here. I’m alive, and nothing bad has happened. Josh has just kept me pretty dang busy these past few days.

Tonight we tried on the kiddos costumes. They fit so WELL!! And goodness, they look so ADORABLE!! Tuesday, we’ll be taking pictures. We’re doing around the complex trick-or-treating, and then we’re gonna go to Walmart so that Julie can see them in all their glory (she’s working the closing).

Tomorrow, Jules and I are going to color each others’ hair (mine needs a major touch-up, because the color didn’t hold very well). Tomorrow is also stop at Walmart and pick up items we need: black eye-liner for Madi’s costume, and um, other things that I’ve now successfully forgotten, *snort*.

A Few Things

1. I’m trying to figure out what to do with the portal. Do I want to leave it my main? Have it just automatically forward here, or what? *snort* I have no clue.

2. Josh said “maybe” and it was a big maybe on a laptop come tax return. Sims 2 and the like will stay on the desktop (me and downloads would kill it), but the laptop would be all mine, so that Josh would have a chance at using the PC. Since we now have TM PC-cillian 2007, we have coverage for up to 3 pc’s, so virus protection is covered. I told him only requirement I have is a non-integrated card (better all around) and a large amount of RAM,. He’s totally okay with it. No more than $1100 for it, he said *dances* And the desktop will still be upgraded with a new graphics card, and if I can get a hold of a copy of Windows XP Home OEM, we’re going to most likely upgrade the existing main hard drive to something bigger as well (40 gig too small for 2 XP accounts, LOL, since Sims runs on each account).

Nothing remarkable

from sassy-kath on ljNothing remarkable is going on. Dizzy from coughing all the time. Josh is on vacation starting yesterday until the 4th, so I’m most likely not gonna be on the PC that much. I really hate, hate, hate being sick. I’m tired of it right now. I just wanna get well. No matter what I do or take, nothing helps. Mentholated cough drops. Nope, nothing cleared, not even a tiny bit. Dayquil/Nyquil. Nada. :( Okay, I feel like shit and there’s nothing I can do about it but wait, and wait, and wait. *sniffle* Fucking sucks.

Not Ready to Make Nice

This song hits home in so many ways. It fits me to a “T” in a lot of aspects of my life. I totally adore the song, and I love the group. I also completely agree with their statements on Bush, and wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of others do as well. At least they had the guts to say it.

The point of the post. There’s so much in my life that I regret, but there are a few things, even years later, I still feel the same way about. I don’t regret the bridges burned, nor the loss of friends/family that I got as a result of the incidents. I’m happy with the family and the friends that I’ve got here. They know me, and accept me for me. The family that means all of the world to me have accepted my faults, and didn’t listen to the words of this song. We’ve made our peace and I’m thankful for that. The ones that refused to do anything but hate me and throw “Scripture” in my face 24/7 are gone, and I’m thankful for that. Life is so much more peaceful without them.
