In the mood for
fall. It’s gotta do with the loverly weather that we’re having. I’m talking mid-70’s all day. I’m talking highs in the mid-80’s period for the next 10 days:
Today: 78/59 | Tuesday: 80/58 | Wednesday: 84/61 | Thursday: 85/62 | Friday: 84/64 | Saturday: 76/60 | Sunday: 80/57 | Monday: 83/62 | Tuesday: 82/61 | Wednesday: 82/62
Now aren’t those some lovely temps? Almost makes you forget that just a few weeks ago, we were hitting 107 O.o for highs, and lows in the 90’s,
. I’m currently in flannel pants my sister made me, and a tee, freezing my tootsies. Gotta find me some slippers soon, since I abhore wearing socks.
Anyways, since I’m the mood for fall, I’m hoping that’ll translate into graphics. In about an hour, kiddos will be heading to bed, giving me an 2 hours of “me” time until Josh gets home from work. Today’s his 2-11, since Jack’s on vacation again. *grumble* Reminds me that Josh needs to put in for her vacation at some point. He can’t take the first week of October because Francis got it back in April
I was so looking forward to going to the Fall Festival too.
With Electronic’s losing Alicia in 2 weeks, and every 5 out of 6 people being interviewed failing their drug tests (Kansas, people, Kansas, nothing much else to do), they’re short-short-short people. They got a new part-timer, but she’s a closer. Yeah, Alicia’s a closer, but they need more than just that. They’re already short 2 people, without Alicia gone. I’m talking over a hundred free unclaimed hours for Electronics (hence Josh getting overtime and no one saying a word, and Tim actually offering it,
).
Anyway, I’m gonna shut up now. Please, let me know what you think of the new theme, whether it be here or on the tagboard

I'm a 26 year-old female living in Kansas with my husband and our two kids. The purpose of this blog is more of a release of all things, but I do have a couple of other blogs for other endeavors.

Nothing else to do in Kansas? What about cow tipping? I thought that was the big thing to do out there.
Isn’t there a lot of corn in Kansas? How about recruiting some of those Children of the Corn? Sure, they’re evil, but they’re not on drugs.
I solve problems. It’s what I do.
The place looks great!

We’re in the middle of a draught, so corn isn’t doing that well. Plus, it seems this year everyone rotated, because I see more soy growing than corn,
.
There aren’t that many cows, either, at least not in Topeka,
, and the rednecks here are too lazy to drive out of the city to find some *snort*
Thanks!!
